There is no such thing as a typical personal training session. 

Our trainers design each session based on your individual needs so no 2 sessions are the same. That being said, your sessions will follow a structure that will likely include a warm-up, the main body of the session, followed by a cool-down. 

Your trainer will design your sessions taking into account your goals, your abilities, and your preferences. 

This is dependent on multiple factors such as your fitness goals, your exercise experience, and your motivation. 

Seeing your trainer once a week may be suitable for some people but others may need to see them more frequently. You and your trainer will be able to work out the best plan of action for you during your initial consultation.

Weight loss can be a challenging fitness goal to achieve and training effectively for weight loss plays a key role.

HIIT (high-intensity interval training), resistance training, and aerobic training can all be used in a weight loss programme. 

Your trainer will likely use a combination of these training methods (among others) to help you reach your goal. It is not that any one of these types of training is best for weight loss but rather that, when used appropriately in combination, weight loss can be achieved.

The word “diet” has been somewhat kidnapped and turned into something that now seems to mean “reduce what you eat and only eat low-calorie foods”.  

Our trainers will offer advice, guidance, and support on nutrition plans to help you reach your goals. This should not be confused with the common perception of “a diet”.
